Machine Maintenance Workshop

A clean, well-maintained sewing machine performs better, stitches more smoothly, and lasts longer. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to safely open the areas of your machine that require regular maintenance, remove lint and debris, clean it properly, and reassemble everything with confidence.
You’ll also learn basic maintenance tips, when and where to oil your machine (if applicable), and how to recognize common issues before they become bigger problems. There will be plenty of time to ask questions about your own machine.
Please do not clean your sewing machine before class! Bring your machine as it is, along with any cleaning brushes or tools that came with it. We’ll clean it together during the workshop.
Regular sewing machines of all makes and models are welcome, in good working condition. No sergers.
