Third Thursday Drop In - December

We are going to Shoot for the third Thursday of each month noon-8pm, with the exception of October, which will start at 4pm.

Many years ago, before Carol owned Thread & Paper (back when it was the Sewing Basket), Thursday nights were something special. A wonderful group of ladies would gather to knit, quilt, sew, hand stitch, and chat. Carol was one of the regulars, and those evenings became some of her favourite—filled with laughter, friendship, creativity, and plenty of encouragement.

We’re excited to bring that tradition back!

If you’ve taken any class at Thread & Paper - at any point over the past 12 years, you’re invited to join us for this free drop-in stitching circle.

Bring whatever project you’re working on, whether it’s quilting, sewing, knitting, crochet, embroidery, hand stitching, or another portable craft. This isn’t a class—it’s simply a chance to work on your own projects, meet other makers, share ideas, and enjoy the company of people who love creating just as much as you do.

Drop in anytime between 12:00 PM and 8:00 PM and stay for as long or as little as you’d like. There is no cost to attend, but we’d appreciate it if you registered online so we know who to expect.

Whether you were part of those original Thursday nights or you’re joining us for the first time, we hope you’ll come help us recreate the welcoming, supportive, and fun atmosphere that made those evenings so memorable. Bring your project, bring a friend, and come spend some time stitching, chatting, and making new memories with us!
