Mixed Fibre Wall Hanging
A Kit with a variety of fabrics will be provided, some supplies will still be needed.
In this class, we will be working with bits and pieces of torn linen, cotton and cheese cloth. We will also bring in some of your Sashiko skills (optional) as well as slow stitching to create a one-of-a-kind wall hanging. This is a very fun and relaxing process where you can let your creative juices flow. A kit with linen, printed cotton, dyed cheese, cloth, stamped bird or flower (on linen as the focal point) and fusible fleece is included in the cost
Supplies to bring:
Cutting mat,rotary cutter and ruler(for squaring up you background fabric)
Scissors
Erasable fabric pen
A variety of threads ie sashiko, embroidery floss, varigated cotton thread.
