Wise Owl Socks
This sock knitting class will help to expand your knitting skills to include a simple cable pattern and a Latvian braid. The pattern also includes an alternate technique, the partridge eye, for making the heel. The pattern is well laid out with clear instructions.
In this class you will learn new skills for:
- Latvian braid
- Partridge eye heel flap
- A simple cable to create the owl motif
Equipment required:
- A set of 4 or 5 double pointed knitting needles size 2.25 mm
- A set of 4 or 5 double pointed knitting needles size 2.5 mm (for Latvian braid and owl motif)
- Fingering weight yarn, main colour and a second colour for the Latvian braid and owl section)
- Cable needle
- Scissors
- Darning needle
- Measuring tape
